Tribes of Midgard starts strong with 250,000 players in one week - News - studio Norsfell

For his first game, the Montreal studio Norsfell has enough to rejoice. Under the direction of its Gearbox publisher, Tribes of Midgard accounts for no less than 250,000 players a week after its output on PS5, PS4 and PC. It was on Steam that we saw this rogue-like survival, action and exploration catch the 3rd place of the most sold games last week, after New World and The Ascent. A promising start for this game in which you have to go exploring the surroundings with its Viking friends in order to raise resources during the day and defend the village (and more precisely the Yggdrasil's growth against the Hordes of Helthings that attack at night fallen. As long as players survive, the process repeats and allows the Vikings to become more and more powerful. This encouraging launch could not in any case fall for Norsfell and Gearbox who intend to supply the game with content seasons. The roadmap currently sees until January 2022.
