Back 4 Blood: Zombies Insulting Apparently Rassistisc
The new cooop shooter "Back 4 Blood" (PC, PS5, Xbox) is currently running in a beta. But players hit a voice line that they hear as racist insult. That does not seem to be intended, scare a black twitch streamer but still.
That's the situation:
- On the 5 . August started the early access beta for pre-order of the 4-player co-op title back 4 Blood on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and the PC (on EPIC and Steam).
- In the game, Zombies give green and staking sounds as they require natural laws of zombies.
- Most of the time, the voice lines are incomprehensible and more like an "Oh, there's a zombie" signal, but players listen to a racist chimping word that begins with "N" and that you should not say.
"How did you call me right now?"
This is the scene: The Twitch Streamer Hombke streamed on average in front of just under 40 people and has been showing the new beta on "Back 4 Blood" on Thursday on his channel.
In a scene he just runs through the area, Loots things, shoots around with a MG rum and does zombie hunter things when he suddenly hears this shuffle word. He will be briefly irritated and asks, "How did you call me?"

Apparently, Hombke is not the only one that that happens. Another Twitter user showed a clip in which it is also clear to hear the evil shock word.
This is how this is discussed: On Twitter you are discussing whether the zombie really says the word or if that is just a grunt or moaning one understands as a swearword.
There is also a twisting discussion, which implications the sculpting word for the zombie should have: you can not punish "cancelling" or anywhere else - as usual is usual. Because the zombie is already in the worst possible status.
Others say: Who divides, must also be plugged in. The user in the second clip called the zombie also called a "Big Fuck".
You can probably assume that this special sound line will not survive the beta of Back 4 Blood.
The "N" word and whether the word was really said or not, is always a heated reason for discussions in online role-playing games and on Twitch:
Wow: Because they said "Naga", several Twitch streamer were banned
