Falling Frontier wins the most expected independent game of E3
The diffusion of this year's E3 by the AAA studios was ... Well, a little rough. The mediocre projections of Capcom, Square Enix, Ubisoft and others have left a large part of the dissatisfied viewers of the online conference experience. However, one thing that can not be denied is the exceptional quality of the dozens of independent titles revealed over the weekend. Cyberpunk Action Platforms in Returned to Temporal Loop Thrillers in Twelve Minutes, the little studios really took over left by the giants. However, one of them stood his head and shoulders above the others, claiming the coveted title of the most anticipated independent game of the E3 - Falling Frontier by Stutter Fox Studios.
Falling Frontier is a sci-fi RTS on the conquest of galaxies generated procedurally in a custom designed vessel fleet. What really distinguishes it from other RTS titles, however, it is the focus on the realistic logistics of the management of an interplanetary empire - for example, there is no global resource system, but the lines supply is vital because the materials must be transported through your territories towards are necessary. Similarly, the collection of information is a key aspect of a successful empire because recognition ships, reconnaissance stations and probes must be deployed to monitor movements inside and outside your borders. All this information has been grouped into a fluid user interface, avoiding that things do not become overwhelming while saying to the player exactly what he needs to know.
Todd d'Arcy, the game developer, commented on this capital victory: _ I am incredibly touched by this price. There were so many great independent games presented at E3, and I was honored to be simply included among them. I am grateful for the support of my community of players and my publisher Hooded Horse, and for the confidence they have shown at once in Falling Frontier and in myself as a developer.
Previously scheduled for a launch in June 2021, Falling Frontier should now exit on PC end 2021 - you can add it to your wish list steam now!
