Final Fantasy VII Remake is probably a trilogy, but Square Enix has not decided yet
Remake Final Fantasy VII was provided with more details because the Ultimate guide is now available in Japan, and this includes how the work will take place on the other parts of the project.
Square Enix has already made it clear that the game will have several parts, even if the developer has not yet unveiled the number of parts he plans to build in the future.
As part of the Ultimate guide, shared on the Japanese Games Talk website, producer Shinobi Kinase mentioned that the studio has a rough idea of the number of remake pieces of Final Fantasy VII will be made, but also that a final decision n. 'Has not been taken on this subject yet.
We have a rough idea, but we have not yet decided exactly, Kit ate said, before he suggests that he could have three games, whose PS4 exclusive that has just released: It's not Something we can say definitively. Widespread speculation seems to be a trilogy.
It should be noted that the interview was carried out well before the release date of April 10, 2020. The plans had to evolve since.
With regard to the size and content of the following parties, the Co-Director Betsy Nora added that this depends on the number of games.
If it is divided into larger parts, it will take a short time, and if in smaller parts we will be able to release it within a shorter period, he explained.
Nora would like to publish it earlier, which means that it will probably grow for shorter periods covered by the original game in a second part — and maybe this approach could even lead to something more than A trilogy.
Before leaving, co-director Naomi Yamaguchi revealed that Final Fantasy vii remake part 1 would be comparable to other main lines Final Fantasy games in terms of play time.
It does not seem that Square Enix will do something different for Party 2 and followed them, and that's why we thought it would be a trilogy, similar to Final Fantasy XIII S.
